Can you believe it is September already- where did summer go? OR are you super grateful for the chill in the air? Won't lie, I have a stew brewing and I am writing this drinking a hot toddy - so YES, let's wrap up this year LOL!
It has been quite the year and Courtney and I are missing you greatly, and all of our brainstorming yumminess! We want to meet in person in September, and from the emails I have been receiving - I know you do too. With all of the personal feelings/opinions about conduct in times like these, we want to put out some guidelines for the September meeting. #1. We will be meeting THIS Friday, September 11th @ 12PM-1PM in Fassbinder Park (aka triangle park on 2nd Avenue). Please bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on. The weather should be fine, if that changes we will let you know our alternate meeting place. Please arrive BEFORE 12 and stay until 1. #2. If you feel symptomatic AT ALL, stay at home. This is soooooo obvious, but wanting to be very clear :) #3. If you are overly upset about people wearing OR not wearing masks, we are asking you politely to make the decision to not attend this month. Whomever wants to wear a mask is more than welcome to, and those who do not want to wear one (we will be outside AND 6 feet apart) are welcome as well. We will be following all of the rules so all is OK. If you are NOT okay with it either way, or feel that you are health compromised, we ask that you stay where you feel safe. #4. If we have an abundance of ladies, we will split up into 2 circles to keep the appropriate space bubbles. #5. We are not a political group, in general we follow the "Eating with Extended Family" topic rules - you know: No politics, No religion = so we are asking that your question to the group or discussions refrain from those 2 areas. #6. Our group has always been about supporting each other in positive, loving ways. This is our highest priority. So we want to see lots of Winking & distance Hi-5ing! Let's get real. In this group, we are all women who are business owners and many of us are parents. All of whom have been put through our own personal wringers this year. Each of us has gone through different challenges, had different realizations (good and some not-so-good), and need some real connection. We hope to provide that this week. We do not know what October holds, so let's grab September by the collar and support each other the best way we know how to.
